the country was founded so that Jews would have a safe state where they wouldn’t have to worry about a second holocaust. Additionally, I know that many, if not most, Israelis probably don’t support the actions of their government.
I get the sentiment, but Israel was literally founded on ethnic cleansing. See: The Nakba.
