Good. The more I hear about how Israel is treating the Palestinians, both in Gaza and the West Bank, the harder it is to feel sympathetic. I want to be sympathetic towards the Israelis, the country was founded so that Jews would have a safe state where they wouldn’t have to worry about a second holocaust. Additionally, I know that many, if not most, Israelis probably don’t support the actions of their government.

Goddamnit though. Hearing about Israelis bombing journalists, hospitals and refugee camps is disgusting, and the way the West Bank invaders cough settlers are treating the Palestinians there is fucking horrid as well.

Rhetorically speaking, how does a country go from being a safe haven from genocide, to being genocidal themselves? Like, holy shit, there are still living holocaust survivors, at least wait until they’re all dead before you “”“forget”“” that genocide is bad and that you’re a horrible person for engaging in it.
