I have been to a few union jobs. I don’t like unions. I hate some of the folks there. They can’t be fired unless they do something really stupid. So most end up doing bare minimum.

Probably something like that. Heck, probably most of the local executives are Russian, so they were probably in on the government take over. Now they are running the company for Putin. Danone and Carlsberg deserves to have their operations taken over since they decided to continue to run their business in that company.

This isn’t and never was a “money grab”. This is an entire populace struggling against a murderous and oppressive theocratic dictatorship.
Not to mention hundreds that died during the protests, several death sentences issued and thousands more arrested by the state for participating in the protests
AIUI the small print during donation allows for skimming off a fraction of any donations away from his campaigning to a corporation association with finding his court cases.
They’re going into a serious recession, between real estate and interest rates elsewhere slowing investment and spending there’s no major growth engine anymore, their consumer spending is collapsing in anticipation of a severe downturn.
