Jack keeps proving that new riffs are endless. Many years ago, people were saying that classic hard rock is gone. Jack White shows up and proves everyone wrong and keeps doing it, IMO. Lazaretto is a good example, and it is heavily influenced by the 1980s.

A lot of music— especially metal— is known for having lyrics that sound cool and evoke a specific feeling but that don’t actually have any coherence. Creek Mary’s Tears tells a specific message; but for the most part Nightwish’s lyrics don’t....

I’ve been addicted to donk bass for years, I keep a playlist of deep house tracks with a tonne of donk bass just to keep myself settled....
