But I’ve had several memes get removed that I was pretty sure don’t violate the rules of the instance...

Let me preface this one by saying that the blame for this is entirely on me and my carelessness when shopping online. I did not get scammed. I was just being stupid....

This is ridiculous. It’s taken me a long time to switch to DuckDuckGo because when I get comfortable with something, it’s really difficult for me to switch, but if they’re going to totally change it (even if it appears to only be for certain search terms now), this is the last straw....

As title says. I haven’t used my Google account for more than 3 months. Prior to abandoning my Google account, I unlinked my phone number, deleted my recovery email, and logged out every device. I also never had 2FA TOTP setup....

For real. I can never understand why some of ye don’t have a cool pfp. You could even get some cool background art on your profile as well. Really jazz it up, ya know. But I swear 90% instead opt for the default lemmy logo. How uncreative and boring. I can’t even tell most of you people apart.
