No, it’s already in use for dd/mm/yyyy. When the majority of the world sees slashes (with the four-digit year at the end), they expect that. Americans are the ones making things ambiguous.
I use NewPipe and get most music from YouTube, on my phone. No ads, and there is hardly any buffering between videos on playlists which is pretty cool. Solid background player so you can turn the screen off or be using other apps and the music won’t be affected.
Agreed, NewPipe is awesome. The only thing I wish it had was an actual feed of my subscriptions, not just a list of my subscribed channels that I have to manually refresh to get their new videos.
Using a VPN generally increases your latency. Latency is…bad. They are advertising a negative consequence as a positive feature, banking on the target market not having enough understanding of the terms in play.
Explaining a joke is like dissecting a frog. You might understand it better but the frog is dead.
That’s how I felt when listening to King’s Dark Tower series when Frank Muller was replaced with George Guidall (who is a fantastic narrator in his own right). Then I discovered there was a pretty compelling reason they had to switch.
I honestly can't tell if most people (in this thread even) don't have profile pics or if I can't see them because kbin.social has some weird federation issues (like with votes).
But I also learned recently you can use a gif as a profile pic. I like my animated pic and it brings a little nostalgia bomb every time I see it.
That’s the left lunatic fringe for you. They have never stopped talking about Trump since he lost the election. From daily CNN and MSNBC news reports to every late night talk show. They are completely obsessed with the guy and more than anyone else have kept his name in the news and kept his popularity up.
Instead let’s meme about this thing I found in the toilet after I pooped. I’m pretty sure it’s not poop because I don’t remember eating a live lizard. Also I have this new fear of toilet monsters and I’m in my forties.
This is not true but basically true. Those who subscribed to the early access mailing list were able to purchase it for $25 instead of the $50 MSRP. I bought one when they first came out and I absolutely love it. I can definitely see OP’s frustration from it not working unless you have premium, that’s pretty bullshit.
