Good news, but still no more wayland support, as e.g. overclocking / undervolting options. Sad that nvidia binds these panels and CLI commands for OC/UV onto xorg options for newer cards - guess I’ll stay further on x11 for now.

Molecular0079 ,

Yeah, I am waiting for the 545 drivers which should contain a few Wayland improvements. I am slightly annoyed that this new update ISN’T that, but I am just impatient hahaha.

Hmm, maybe I’ll have to give 535 a try again. Every time I’ve tried to switch from 525 I encounter system hangs/lockups.

TheHobbyist ,

Anyone tested this with envycontrol? An Nvidia drivder update in march broke it for me (couldn’t disable dedicated GPU) so had to revert to 525. Would love to update if someone can confirm there are no issues. Am on Fedora + Wayland

Nvidia on laptop here.

Gnome and Gnome + Wayland + Nvidia all driver from Frogging family… I don’t see issues

Now this is good news! At least for the dozens of us that use Nvidia on Linux.

Probably more Nvidia users than you think. I was on Nvidia originally since I built my computer with Windows in mind.
