I’m having trouble with networking on linux. I am renting a vps with only one NIC, one ipv4 address, and a /64 range of ipv6 ones. I want to deploy openstack neutron to this vps, but openstack neutron is designed to be ran on machines with two NIC’s, one for normal network access, and entirely dedicated to virtualized...

Still new to linux hope its ok to ask here. I decided to replace one of my backup drives for the first time in 5ish years with a new 2.5" HDD meant for internal use but in an enclosure (the enclosure works fine). I formatted it in ntfs via gparted and everything went as expected, I even created a large veracrypt container file....

I’m working on a hobby project of mine which requires Gnu Make 4.4. I am now trying to setup the project’s Travis pipeline on github. Travis, understandably, only offers LTS Ubuntu images and sadly Gnu Make 4.4 is not available on those images....

When I try to enable my (correctly configured) VPN it just does nothing, not even an error. Opvpn via the Terminal doesnt work seither even though it worked yesterday

I’m old school Xorg, but want to give Wayland a go. The application that has me stymied is VMware Horizon client . It explicitly doesn’t support Wayland, but shouldn’t it work under Xwayland? How do I explicitly make it run with that, and not fail telling me Wayland isn’t supported?
