Is Linux pretty much unusable with an Nvidia GPU?
I’ve been trying Linux Mint on my old dell laptop with an nvidia GPU and it’s been just one impossible issue after the other....

I’m running stock Linux Mint and when I try to set 16:9 aspect ratio on my 32:9 monitor it stretches the resolution on whole monitor. On Windows it works by putting the screen in the middle of the monitor. I was wondering if something like that is possible on Mint.
Edit with solution: I’m dumb. Just use the default quickemu settings and only change "-device virtio-gpu-gl " to "-device virtio-gpu " and "-display sdl,gl=on " to "-display sdl,gl=off ".
