Up till now I’ve been running Debian on a 2008 Dell tower as my homeserver. I just got 2 1tb drives for it so I want to upgrade to an actual dedicated NAS software to simplify how I manage it. The problem is, I only have 4gb of RAM in it. Any recommendations?...
The manual mentions that by default you can pan by holding middle click but my tablet does not have one, so I would like to change it to left click. Anyone knows how to do it? Thanks.
I’ve just installed Arch on my laptop and I’ve noticed the WiFi card seems to be generating a load of errors. I’m also dual booting Ubuntu server and it looks like that’s been generating similar logs although I’ve only ever used Ethernet on there:...
I’ve installed TLP on my Lenovo ThinkBook laptop and was wondering if there are additional steps I can take to extend the battery life when using the laptop unplugged....

I already bought a dummy plug to simulate a monitor but that seems clunky. Is there a better way? I’m also open to using a different...
Question: Is there any auto-correct that works globally in all (or at least, many) applications? Particularly non-terminal. So for example firefox (like this text box I’m typing into), chat, text editors, word processors etc?...
Actually I am switching to Wayland and Most of apps I use support GTK Theming (Librewolf,Thunderbird,Libreoffice etc). But I cant find any terminal which is based on Gtk so that I can complete this theming. So do you people know of any GTK based Terminal for wayland?
I watched a video by Chris Titus in which he encouraged everyone to install auto-cpufreq immediately since it does wonders for battery life on laptops....
