Couldn’t find the project in my browser history or Lemmy saves. I’m pretty sure it was Lemmy though that led me to find a GitHub project similar to OSTree. It sounded like it was maintained by one person and it hasn’t been updated in a long time because the author thought it was “done” and they used it frequently....

I am trying to install Fedora KDE 40 on my HP laptop alobside windows 11 on a 40 GB partition. for some reason, installation works fine but gts stuck at ‘Generating initramfs’ i cant see any other issues and USB access is fine. what could be going wrong?

Hi, all. Finally migrated from Kubuntu to Debian 12 over the weekend. It’s working great, as I figured it would, with one exception: The system isn’t turning the monitors off after 10 minutes. It’s blanking them, but they’re clearly still on....

I am using unattended-upgrades across multiple servers. I would like package updates to be rolled out gradually, either randomly or to a subset of test/staging machines first. Is there a way to do that for APT on Ubuntu?...

According to this issue, it looks like there are no plans, understandably, for making a version/fork of nsxiv but with native Wayland support....
