Well the title says it all....
Hello fellow lemmings! Fedora KDE user here, and quite happy about it, it didn’t break a single time and packages are up to date. The only thing that bother me is DNF’s speed… a single search may take up to 5 seconds, and if I’m dependency-hunting I may need several searches, summing up the delays. I’m asking if...
I’ve seen a lot of posts about the Red Hat situation, and it made me want to talk about something I’ve been thinking about for some time....
That’s a huge increase.
I tried reinstalling the plugins several times, including neovim itself and I always get this...
I am using a Steam Deck with Mullvad VPN WireGuard. I am quite limited with the software I can install without having to reinstall on each update. On each reboot I have to manual turn on the Mullvad VPN and there is no kill-switch. I run the Steam Deck in desktop mode most of the time connected to a monitor....

Includes interviews with both RedHat and Rocky Linux.

What are the broader implications when it comes to access, security, vulnerabilities, etc?
I see a lot of posts about Redhat for putting their code base behind a paywall. I’ve only been using Linux as my main desktop OS for a couple of years now. Someone recommended Fedora at the time, and I’ve been happy with it. I had previously tried PopOS, Mint, and Ubuntu, but none of them convinced me to switch from Windows...
So I know my way around Linux pretty well. However I never really got the gist of the difference between Snap, Flatpak and Native packages....
Hello everyone!...
I quote “But installing a secondary SSD required me to input some commands and change a text file (again, on Windows, it’s almost literally plug and play), and I had an absolutely awful time trying to configure an app called MangoHUD, which I use for benchmarking on the Steam Deck. It took me a couple of hours to get...
