In the USA, recently more people died of “excess deaths” than from all wars combined, and this on top of our regularly scheduled culling of kids in schools, our democracy is already converted into a totalitarian regime due in part to an infamous SCOTUS (court) ruling, but it’s probably climate change that will kill us all within it lifetimes, oh yeah and virtually nothing on the internet works quite correctly anymore.
Today is Thursday btw, and you know what that means - looking forward to the weekend, whoo-hoo! :-P
Fun fact, this painting “Saturn Devouring his Sons” was found on the wall in the home of Francisco Goya but was never actually titled until after Goya’s death. It likely had nothing to do with Saturn.
This painting was in the dining room, so during eating he watched this painting. I guess it has so clear eyes so he could maintain eye contact while drinking his morning coffee.
All walls of the house were covered with similar depressing and disturbing murals, they are called the 14 Black Paintings.
In high school math class we got paired up for a worksheet and instead of doing any math we spent the hour listing the first 150 Pokemon in numerical order. Been chasing that high ever since
Honestly, the names of the newer Pokémon are so dumb that I never tried to remember. The old ones are cool and I’ll probably remember them for another decade.
