If they’re like some of my family, they see the lived-in familiarity of their youth as “quirky” in contrast to the unfamiliarity of today’s youth which is “bizarre”. They eased into the bizareness of being a child over time, whereas they are getting dropped in the deep end when they encounter children now.
It’s all silly. Everyone is quirky and weird on some level. Some are just more open and honest about it than others and successive generations have been pushing more to be themselves.
Using that would be insane vs just writing down what you fuckin need goddamn. I can’t imagine having to scroll down all those columns as I’m going around the grocers.

It’s funny how similar AI generated images are to accompanying drawings for “what are ten things that are wrong with this picture?” style questions in an IQ test.
I looked it up and fully expected to type something like “It’s not that bad” but damn… it is. It’s just so lazy: Taking big popular songs and putting nonsense lyrics of them. And not in the funny way this might sound like, it’s just underwhelming.

Honestly, given Rick Scott’s reputation for bilking Medicare into the billions, this is one of the smallest tier scams I’ve heard of in Florida. They didn’t even take the state for a full seven figures (unless, of course, the number is being drastically under-reported which is always a possibility).
It stopped at $400,000 because the state Supreme Court ruled the law unconstitutional and put a stop to the whole operation. He’d have made tens of millions if not more otherwise.
