Is Lemmy always this ridiculously apocalyptic? Do you guys need some help?

phorq ,

No, help is not required. I am safe, and you can trust me fellow human. There is no apocalypse happening below your nose. Your nose is too small to fit an apocalypse under. LOL. Human humor is humorous as I am one!

‘Fall’ is not used to describe autumn in most places outside the US.

Eleazar ,

Yes, it’s always this ridiculous. It’s the polar opposite of Q level conspiracies except somehow democrats. The weird thing is you’d think they’d be cool with RFK Jr. but apparently he’s an antisemitic Nazi because vaccines or something.

totallynotarobot ,

What a weird take

No but he is batshit. He makes some really good points but all that is overshadowed by some of his crazier theories.

Democrats? Do you really see this place as only liberal?

I mean what else do you do when the world is on fire and we decided we can’t turn off the gas?

insomniac_lemon , (edited )
@insomniac_lemon@kbin.social avatar

I just need someone to get me out of here. Their choice of interpretation on what that means (body/country/planet/era/other). (Note/medical thing: my body can't/doesn't really sweat, so a heat wave could easily kill me. )

But other than that? It don't matter, none of this matters.

MrNesser , in How many extensions do you have installed on your Firefox?

@jossbo@lemmy.ml avatar

Just mine around the edge and make sure you catch all the blocks so they don’t fall on the pressure plate at the bottom. You can mine out the reassure plate when you get down there, and the tnt! Good luck with the loot, hope you get some cool trims! Pretty sure Notch apples can still spawn down there as well!

xrtxn ,

It doesn’t matter whether the blocks fall on the pressure plate.

jossbo ,
@jossbo@lemmy.ml avatar

Oh, I thought items set them off!

FilthyShrooms ,

The pyramids have stone pressure plates, which are only set off by mobs and players. However, wooden pressure plates are activated by other things too such as items and fired arrows

Have you tried it? Genuinely curious. I’m wondering what it would taste like!

Stiltso ,

It tastes a bit like coldslaw

polyfire ,

Coleslaw is already pretty cold when you eat it. So if anything it would just be crunchier. But no haven’t had it, but if I saw it at a BBQ, I’d def partake.

@TheSaneWriter@lemmy.thesanewriter.com avatar

This is one of many reasons proposals should be talked about in advance. If you like surprises your partner doesn’t need to know exactly when the proposal is coming, but generally it should be known if a proposal is coming in the more immediate future, in the long term, or not at all.

wolfpack86 ,

But that’s also a target demographic here. Let’s say you talk with your partner and a proposal is coming in some near term future.

You go away for a weekend to the beach, but are not planning to propose–youre going to do that at the park where you first met or whatever.

SO sees this, gets excited, then get let down and isn’t ever in the same great spirits the rest of the day/weekend.

Still a chaos inducing opportunity
