Why would you seek somebody’s advice if you’re not willing to take it?
People are dumb as hell. Between working retail and working first line IT support, I cannot tell you how many times I’ve had someone ask me a question and then immediately disregard the advice. I got to just expect idiocy when I was asked a technical question at work.
Thankfully I’m in a much better gig where people value my opinion.
