Accounts which solely post advertisements, or persistently post them may be terminated.

i have no problems accessing firefish and pixelfed using other browsers (duckduckgo and firefox) but i cant access the same servers using safari....
Found this by accident, it appeared in a google search....

Let’s say I’m from instance A and use a community from instance B. Let’s say another user of instance C, that’s not federated with A but is with B, post in B. Can I see that post?
unless im missing something, fedidb.org seems to only track this stuff over the course of the past 14 days....

I want to know how to use the Antenna feature of Firefish to customize my feed and see more relevant content based on the topics I like, how to follow lemmy communities, how to post on lemmy and vote posts/comments on lemmy from there. Is there a documentation where I can learn about that?
Following on from my initial primer article on the very basics of what the Fediverse is, this next article concentrates on what Lemmy is, explaining in very simple terms how to choose an instance that’s right for you, how to find and join Communities, what to expect, how federation works on Lemmy etc....
Kitsune is still pre-alpha so it’s not yet ready for production use, but it’s getting very close now and several new contributors have come along to help out....
Frequently, I need to answer the question, “Is this source of information reliable?”. Lately, I have been thinking that a decentralized platform to post reviews for websites and see aggregated statistics about those reviews would be pretty useful....

Does anyone know if there might be an android client for Bookwyrm. F-droid has one but it’s not been update in 5 months. I tried using fedi-lab but it couldn’t seem to connect to the instance I’m using
In my experience, once a community reaches certain size, it grows organically. But reaching that cricial mass is hard....
