ios safari access to firefish and pixelfed

i have no problems accessing firefish and pixelfed using other browsers (duckduckgo and firefox) but i cant access the same servers using safari.
i uninstalled the adblocker and followed the suggestions (clear cache, refresh) but the problem persists.
in pixelfed, the page is blank. in firefish, an error page shows up (linked image).
im interested in trying their pwas, that is why im attempting to access them using safari.
(i hope i did not miss anything obvious).

Click the aA on the left of the address bar and click turn off content blockers. If that fixes it you have a safari extension causing it.

I also use Safari for Firefish and Pixelfed and I have no problem with them, maybe is an ad blocker or an extension causing the problem

Can you successfully upload photos to the PixelFed TestFlight beta on an iOS device? Because I have not been able to.

Interesting. I hope they figure it out. I tried the Instagram import and I have too many photos in my archive so nothing about PixelFed is working for me yet.

It could be the content blocker is active, something that is standard on Safari now. When you go to a website, click on the Aa button on the address bar, you should see it in the list.

    Hope that helps.
