Just a little rant. When I first visited Lemmy Sites a couple of months ago it felt empty. Besides the really mainstream community pretty much everything else just felt empty....

Someone linked a site that lets you search all the Lemmy communities but I lost the link. IIRC it presented all the communities in a tile based layout.

I know some things about both, but im still confused for some reason. Like what is the difference between peertube and youtube, which is better?...

It often happens that a given lemmy link didn’t match with my own login from another instance. This causes troubles to comment and participate in the thread. This is what I have learned so far. Is there a better method of doing this? Browser extension suggestions are welcome....

I’m just asking for recommendations in case, I feel like migrating to a smaller instance or maybe try kbin for a change (but I’ll miss the voyager web app)

Just saw a post on reddit alternatives and there was a comment inviting users to laguna.chat. I went and checked it out and the trending communities list included, ‘jews did 911’, ‘killnirs’, ‘hitler was right’, and 'Fuck Nirs’. One of the user accounts was u/HangNi***rs....

I found one post from 12 hours ago that describes the problem: lemmy.ml/post/2650814 - but that’s all I’ve seen. Content is way down on lemmy.ml with nothing coming in from .world...

I have checked my posts and seen comments and replies about which I was not notified, but only sometimes.

On reddit if I wanted to refer to a subreddit I’d type /r/oneOrangeBraincell/ and that would get turned into a link. What’s the lemmy equivalent?
