I started getting the dreaded anti-adblock pop-ups on Youtube when they started ramping up their efforts a month or so back, and I initially went through the whole rigamarole: First it was just the pop-up, then it was the pop-up with the timer, then the 3-video countdown finally leading to the video player being disabled...
Good friends of mine would like a reprieve so they can have their anniversary dinner. I’ve been a camp counsellor and was pretty good at it but those kids were all 6 years old, this one is 13 months old. Adorable kid but I figure maybe some folks here might have good ideas/thoughts/suggestions/crass jokes?
I’m trying to improve my breakfest generally, and I heard that these are some of the best of what’s already popular to eat for health. How should these be ate, together or separate?
So I was watching a few youtubes and remembered how the vast majority (of like the ten) nes games me and my sister had were hard as all hell. This is probably pretty common, and I’m wondering what other people have found as a way to do more productive things with their phones in the downtime.
I’m thinking of watching ‘Halt and Catch Fire’, but I’m also taking a hardware & OS course right now, and I was worried that it might teach me some wrong stuff. I might wait till after the final to watch it.
For example, I 3d printed a box over my outlet to protect my cables from my bed pushing against it. In addition, my cables never fall to the floor so they’re much easier to grab.
I’m fairly new to the Fediverse, and I’d like to share my onboarding experience. Personally, I appreciate the concept of decentralization and the community-driven aspect of Fediverse. I’ve used Mastodon and Lemmy, based on ActivityPub, for a while:...
