as a reddit refugee i mostly use lemmy, but sometimes i go back by a lack of alternative to some subreddit, which one you feel there is a need ?...

I was wondering how the pre-reddit lemmy members feel about the influx of ex-reddit. Have things got worst or better? Is there any lemmy etiquette that we are missing?

And it also seems that mastodon can also be “syndicated” to these other communities, and vice versa? Is that true?...

Personally, I want nothing to do with them and I’m not willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. I moved to the Fediverse to get away from all these corpos.

Just wondering why lemmy is on a .ml domain. (Which is Mali) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.ml

I kind of want to move over to lemmy.ml because I don’t like the content in lemmy.one if it helps I also deleted my lemmy.ml account because I signed up for both and thought I could only have one. Going to the lemmy.ml website now says 404 deleted and I want to fix that.

Its not a secret that no ads on lemmy, which makes the process more difficult paying for hosting to keep your instance only, so tell me!...

The alt social media are a good place to run away from algorithms and explicit mass manipulation from other big tech, be more free, independent, and spread ideas, but I also think that the fediverse is being filling with people with radical political ideologies, some kicked out of traditional social platforms for this same...
