Seems like it's even more important here than on reddit. As some communities have multiples on different instances like the aww communities has 3 so far....
I should probably figure out some way to keep my bookmarks. I’m using 3 browsers (FF, Tor Browser, Bromite - soon to be replaced)....
I haven't seen this app suggested, so I'm sharing it in case anyone likes it....
The only reason why we all used third party apps for Reddit, is because their app and website is abhorrent trash. It’s great to have a choice, but Lemmy’s website is smooth to use. I know it’s mind blowing not to use a app for everything in 2023 but Lemmy just works.
I’ve made a spreadsheet with a bunch of phone options. Mostly Samsung, Pixel, but there’s a couple Motorola and One Plus. I’m most comfortable with Samsung Galaxy but I’m open to changing. I looked up the main considerations and it seems like Megapixels is pretty much the biggest factor but I want something that can zoom...
I need to change the screen on my phone and unfortunately the repair shop has to wipe the phone - don't ask why, something related to personal data etc....

For the past day or so every time I try to open Jerboa it just crashes immediately without an error message why. Is there any scheduled update/fix for Jerboa? I'd like to be able to browse on mobile again and really enjoyed the app while it was working....
When I'm driving with the phone is a dashboard mount, everything else on the phone is super slow and laggy. To the point where if something doesn't work via voice control, I'm afraid to do it manually like when stopped at a red light, in case I can't switch back to navigation before I need to make a turn. Google Maps on OnePlus...

I have an A53, running Android 13. I’ve recently noticed that if I uninstall an app and the reinstall it, it still has login credentials. That leads me to believe that uninstall isn’t really deleting all the associated data....
It has been years since I have installed a custom rom on my device....
I just connected to my home Wi-Fi and got the notification, “Google play has switched off your Wi-Fi.” It hasn’t done this before, but after a while it connected again with no complaints....
Hey, 2 days ago I downloaded to try "Thumb-key" ad I discovered it from here, it looked fun and is fun. Now I just gave a problem which is for me personally pretty annoying. I use Signal and usually when writing to my SO, I write  to get a ❤️ or I write  to get a 💋 emoji. And for some reasons since I...
I’m currently using Jerboa but curious to know whether any of the ones popping up are a better experience!
I have a DIY Android TV; it’s a long story but you can see it here all I truly missing is casting experience and I mean a true cast. I can do most of the easy way like mirror screen, & YouTube or cast photos & images but applications like Netflix, HBO or Spotify aren’t really working and I was looking for an app or a way to...

I need a phone that can do decent emulation (WII, PS2, Switch, etc.) that also supports expandable storage. All the flagships literally doesn’t have expandable storage, maybe there are some phones out there who can provide that functionality.
