As the title says, a samsung tablet got updated, and now refuses to allow an older app that was working fine before the update to launch or do anything other than pop a toast saying it was built for an older android version....

Long story short: I don’t like iOS but have been using an iPhone for a couple years due to lack of personally viable hardware options on the Android side of things. I’ve gotten tired of waiting and found a good deal on an open box Pixel 8 Pro which arrives in a few days, I’ll be installing GrapheneOS on it....

Use cases would be regions where wifi is unreliable, on road trips or flights, etc....

Nothing makes sense. It’s been oversimplified to the point where it’s been dumbed down to its core.

You cant. They just shut down the server and removed the unlocker app from their site. Maybe, just maybe, they will release a “rewritten version” in the coming months according to some guy on xda who asked them....

I got a used Pixel 3a on eBay 2 years ago. I’ve left it in the humid restroom and even accidentally dipped it in water to where the speakers got wet and blared. It dried off and the loudspeaker sounds normal again and everything still works....

I’ll be honest, I think for OnePlus 8 pro, and I know no other phone that this applies to. That the stock OS is the best one, not the features or customizability, but OPPO did something where it’s way more stable than any custom rom I can get installed....
