Prozakk were the best Canadian based cartoon British guys. British sounding Canadian cartoon artists? Canadian cartoons with British accents. Whatever they were, Simon and Milo rocked.
The most used lie is “I’ve read the TOS and PP” before clicking in “Accept”, the biggest joke is the sentence with which start every PP “Your privacy is very important for us”.
Freedom of information should be a human right, it allows to build consensus crucial for social cohesion. A bit like open access in academia, which is getting more traction recently. But unless this right is guaranteed stealing from authors destroys knowledge industry as such. Except that maybe it helps to transform predatory business models.
I went up on a nearby hill the other day, because the sunset was beautiful and the cloud cover was majestic, I wanted to view it from a better vantage point.
When I got up, I realised that a not insignificant part of the hill had burned. It was a rather depressing view.
I had a wildfire burn thru the property/area I live and work on not long ago. I had to spend the rest of the summer, fall, and a good portion of the winter just staring at scorched earth - morning, noon, and night.
That sounds really unpleasant. I had no idea there’d been a fire (and not even a particularly large one at that) until I climbed the hill, so it’s not something I’ll have to stare at for a longer period of time, but it was unpleasant when we were up there. I used to go there rather often because it offers a really nice view of the town.
I’m a lesbian, and I’ve learned I need to assume anything can be a date, otherwise I just assume it’s not cause women do all kinds of stuff together lol.
Unless we’re like close platonic friends, it’s a date lol.
The site says 200tb, and I’m mostly interested in the nes, SNES and genesis archive. I’ve got archives of every game made for those already, but I don’t have every mod and such. Those archives are very small, the nes one is a few hundred megabytes. I’m guessing most of that big number is ps1, 2 and n64 games. I’d probably be interested in archiving those as well but I think the old pre 3d console games are probably worth saving more, since not many people have copies.
I recently started getting my drives from serverpartdeals 3.5". The refrubs seem to work great for my use case of just media. I have a second unraid server that is just 2.5" ssd’s and 4 nvme’s that I use for my personal files and photos since it’s a much smaller and low power build I can stuff a bunch in a mini itx case so 2.5" is great for that
