I have a cousin in Grenada. Her area is fine, but some of the devastation she’s shown has been absolutely horrific.

The island that was worst hit is called Carriacou.

All the photos she shares of Grenada show a really beautiful place to live. Apart from the hurricanes, I do envy her.

That said, she has a house on the beach, so I’m guessing that house won’t be there in a few years.

A mechanical engineer, Ortberg has put more than 30 years in aerospace and defense, including numerous executive roles.

Cautiously optimistic that Boeing will get back to the engineering quality standard it was once known for, now having an actual engineer back at the helm.

He might have a BS in mechanical engineering, but almost all of his experience is managerial. Looks like he was a project manager at Rockwell Collins and stayed in management until becoming CEO, then Raytheon bought them and he oversaw that merger.

Bottom line, he’s still an MBA type (though apparently doesn’t have an MBA himself). I don’t have high hopes for him to turn Boeing back into a quality aerospace company.

This is an odd timed article because I just saw two yesterday, one on CNN and one on another site saying the exact opposite.

Both discussed how heavy metals, specifically lead, was found in most dark chocolates from around the world now due to over use of fertilizers and even in the organic brands.

So now am reading it’s okay to eat it in little doses? Maybe just a little lead is okay? 😂

It’s not okay to eat heavy metals in any amount because they accumulate in your bones and get released later when your bone density goes down. That’s literally why Alzheimer’s (which can be caused by heavy metals like aluminum) happens in old age.
