RimWorld sans mods is a great story teller:
My play allowed me to build a big colony within a mountain like in dwarf fortress, then I woke up an ancient terror like in df, but something unexpected happened when two of the remaining settlers, a kid and an old lady where able to escape.
I got them to escape the map, then resettle with almost impossible odds, with just the shirts on their backs, no food, tools nor weapons and the kid's just a kid.
Fast forward some odd 20 hours, their tribe was able to come back and re-take the base.
I feel sorry for the boys growing up now looking at all these roided out monsters thinking they need to look like that to be good looking. In the 90’s we had actual regular sized people as the peak male specimen.
I’ve essentially given up that our planet, or the human race is gonna survive another few generations. It literally all feels so empty and I have no desire to have kids who will ultimately have to live through the boiling temperatures. Either population collapse, or the planet dying off will result in society falling apart.
At first shorts were pretty neat, now they’re the same shovel-ware from TikTok. I literally see copy/paste TikToks with the stupid follow animation every few videos, or subway surfer videos that progressively takeover the bottom of the screen with every short. Actual cancer now.
