One time I wrote a desperate email to my English teacher. Let me do some extra credit anything to not take the class again. He corrected all my spelling and grammar mistakes, attached a picture of my attendance record, and told me to go fuck myself
There’s a description field, could people please start putting a link to the original xkcd, i.e. xkcd.com/979/ in this case? It’s not that hard.
Without attribution you’re just doing copyright infringement (see also xkcd.com/license.html). And you’re hiding useful and nice information like the title text, the title, an the xkcd number, which you can use to get a transcription and an explanation on explainxkcd.
A lot harder for AI to fake videos so maybe in the future, videos will become standard instead of photos. Soon, we’ll need 3d holograms to combat an even more advanced ai.
Disable “Mobile services manager”. Samsung phones are lousy with crapware these days so I would avoid them like the plague. An eldery relative asked me why he kept seeing ad popups and his device had something called “Samsung Free” that cannot be disabled or completely turned off which pushes news articles, ads and other shit at him. I just turned off as many “interests” as I could and attempted to opt out of the software but it’s still there and swiping left on the home page re-enables it. Samsung phones are absolute dogshit these days. I wouldn’t go near one unless they could be rooted and flashed out of the box.
An alternative launcher might help with the swipe left bit. I know it’s another big corp but I’ve been running the Microsoft launcher on my pixel 2 for years now, and It’s been pretty well behaved
Your cat goes on walks? My cat just bites the harness when I attach it to her. If I pick her up and put her outside, she’ll run back and scratch the door if it’s closed. Funny enough, she sometimes runs outside through the the opening as someone is entering/leaving the house, then a few minutes later come back scratching the door. I don’t know if she likes outside or not, what a weird cat.
My cat was a rescue. She likes to be outside when it’s sunny. So I let out back with the dog. She darts out the door sometimes too. At first I was alarmed but she just stays around the house.
It’s like a game now though. Before I would stop her from going out so now she runs out real fast but I don’t stop her anymore but she still runs out as if I will. lol
Yep, he lives for it. I adopted him when he was 5 years old and trained him as soon as he got used to me. He he gets very excited when I get his harness out and loves to go for walks. He’s 15 now and still keen everyday unless it’s really cold.
My cats go outdoors - but sometimes if you’re going out they’ll just follow you. Very annoying when you have to catch a train and then they start following you. But occasionally we walk them down to a mini woods a few minutes walk away and that’s great. People are very interested in the concept of taking cats on a walk. No harnesses, they just follow us
