Begging to be taken on a walk (lemmy.world)
This is Alex, he’s been having daily or twice daily walks for 10 years now. He still thinks he needs to act extra cute, and I’m not going to tell him otherwise!
It is not Lemmy or kbin, it is the fediverse. (kbin.social)
I don't think many people understand that if they use Lemmy or kbin, they are posting to the fediverse. There are other platforms and will be more to come. Referring to a post on "Lemmy" or "kbin" is like saying you saw a post on your Windows or Mac computer....
YSK there are sites that offer you a temporary email address for signing up for services that require one (like some Lemmy servers)
They work by giving you a random email address that is available for a short time (ex. 10min) and an inbox for any messages you recieve during that time (ex. an email verification message from a Lemmy server)...
about half my clicks on Jerboa or Connect end with errors?
As title says....
Is Lemmy's code base "good"?
I know that Lemmy is open source and it can only get better from here on out, but I do wonder if any experts can weigh in whether the foundation is well written? Or are we building on top of 4 years worth of tech debt?
