I’m not sure about lighter than air craft, but in the US you don’t need a license to fly microlight aircraft, as long as it’s less than 250 pounds and has less than a 5 gallon fuel tank, iirc
We used to do a variation of this as kids with parents that couldn’t afford much.
A warm bun that was left in the summer sun all afternoon, several thick slices of frozen butter and a freshly steaming hot boiled hot dog and nothing else.
We’d gobble down about two or three of these and run around all afternoon until dark without a care in the world.
Weird that Americans want to go with Aluminum when there’s also Americium, Berkelium, and Californium. Not to mention Deuterium, Helium, Iridium, Lithium, etc…
If we’re going to be consistent with other elements, it should be Aluminum, that way it matches Molybdenum and Platinum, the only 2 other elements ending in “um” (please don’t check this).
