My cat would just become a frog and leap out of there. She’s now terrified of going anywhere near the bathtub. You could pick her up and hold her snd she would just accept it, but as soon as you step over into the bathroom, she immediately panics and struggles to get out of your hands. I think I might have accidentally gave my cat PTSD from trying to shower her.
Dude I’m not exactly a casual gamer, and yet I still get my ass kicked by smug hardcore gamers in every single online multiplayer game i play. Among friends, there’s a more even and more fun level of difficulty, but online it’s a constant steamroll.
I loved shitting on people in CoD and League when I was 11 through 17. Tried to play league now as 25yo and I can see that the noobs that I loved to make fun of just didn’t have the time to read guides and study the game 10 hours a day. Anyway, I get shit on nowdays
I've been "permabanned" from Reddit eight or so times, with all but the most recent one contested and reversed. Short story: I pissed off a certain turtle, and he made sure to report me for inciting violence every chance he got, which, best I can tell, is a preemptive ban regardless of post content. With this latest one, though, I'm done; I'm not even fighting it. I needed a good kick in the ass to get off of Reddit, and this is it.
Who browses the local timeline on a large fediverse instance lol.
Anyway, reality is bad and we’re living in it, so I have relatively little patience for people who complain about doomposting. There’s a lot of doom out there.
If folks want to only see good news, start an “only good news” community (assuming this doesn’t already exist) and just stick to your subscribed communities view.
So this post prompted me to check my app connections (on iOS btw) and I realized I didn’t have NextDNS set 😓. It connects to a lot of Google domains and others, but not Facebook on my end.
