I read some time ago (that was before the Twitter acquisition) a Fellon Muskolini apologist say that “He is always the smartest person in any room”. It’s clear now that this is absolutely true, as long as everybody else in the room is a rutabaga.
The Muskrat is the dumb man’s idea of a smart person.
If he actually is the smartest man in a room, it’s because the smart people got up and left because they got tired of his bullshit.
Went to an AMC theater recently after not going to one for years. I waited through about 30 minutes of forced ads before the movie started. The “shut off your cell phone warning” was about 10-15 min early. Guess I’m prepared to show up later than the advertised times in the future and skip it, but can’t say I want to go back.
Yeah, I don’t think we can say there is a first day. More like there are waves. We could tentatively say the first one was around the black out. Although, there may have been some smaller waves before that. The next big one is the API-ocalypse. The next big one after that will be when the reddit executives fire their foot shotgun again.
I think there is some merit to saying that a lot of people are stubborn and won’t move unless forced. The apps going down today prompted a big wave that’s for sure
