I actually went to a theater a couple of days ago after not going to one for a couple of years and I was shocked at the price. I’d much rather wait until I can just watch it from the comfort of my own home.
Also not worth it when others are talking and using their phone in the theatre.

Yeah, I don’t think we can say there is a first day. More like there are waves. We could tentatively say the first one was around the black out. Although, there may have been some smaller waves before that. The next big one is the API-ocalypse. The next big one after that will be when the reddit executives fire their foot shotgun again.
I think there is some merit to saying that a lot of people are stubborn and won’t move unless forced. The apps going down today prompted a big wave that’s for sure
Other than google/wikipedia, what are some other resources to learn more in depth as to what the feeiverse is? If there are any, that is. Unless its just “heres the name, go learn”

EDIT: I have tested it on 3 browsers, one of which saves no cookies/history… I doubt it is cache related? EDIT2: Tested also on 2 different mobile browsers. Same issue.
I am suffering from the same issue. I opened my browser’s devtools and noticed lemm.ee/static/e20bfa7/js/client.js is returning 404. So I turned on my VPN into a random other country (I chose Norway), and the issue stopped. Could it be that your CDN is not serving the client.js in some parts of the world?
Came back to this thread to say I LOVE Strange New Worlds so far! I liked Picard well enough, but just couldn’t get into Discovery after a couple tries, though I can’t articulate why (???). SNW seems to hit just right.
Yeah, 600/800 sounds like a lot until you realize that includes all the stuff you’re just scrolling past in your feed or comments, not even clicking on. I wouldn’t be surprised if they even overlooked the fact that ads might count against that cap too. I’m no heavy user but hit that cap in less than 20 minutes of reading people reacting to the news.
