can anybody please tell me why lemmy wont be regulated or commercialized like reddit in the future? which safety rules are installed in the lemmy ecosystem to guarante freedom and democratic rule changes?
Disagree, when Twitter first came about it was actually possible to connect with people around specific topics, and was originally mostly random celebrities, news/journalists, and tech nerds. It was a very different vibe in my experience.
I’d have shared this on r/Piracy, but that site is not cool anymore and it is only flooded with dumb memes and bots, now they can copy this content from Lemmy if they want :)
I tried using Comodo software way back in the day. It is incredibly intrusive and even after uninstalling it, I had so many issues with errors and performance hits that I eventually had to reinstall Windows. Never again
