From the 1750’s until the 1790’s this was the domain of Basque land pirates. Portuguese traders would avoid this route for fear of the Basque pirates, instead opting the longer route to Venice through Gibraltar, along the North African coast, and into Sicilly.

ITT: People legitimately trying to name it, people saying “I’m American and I know this is fake,” and people who get the joke trying to come up with a good name.

Etterra ,

Hey don’t call me out like that. My response was funny.

ChaosMaterialist , to memes in Can you Americans pass the test?

American here. This is clearly the current domain of the French Ancien Régime, but the Revolutionary government in Paris doesn’t recognize their existence.

South Weimar Republic’s totally legitimate successor state, with a flag consisting of a red background, white circle, and in the middle of the white circle there’s an X, which inspired by some dude named Weelon Tusk’s corporation of the same name, but the X is slightly modified and adds a tiny perpendicular line in all 4 tips of the letter X towards the clockwise direction and looks like a… wait a minute…

FTFY.

Seriously, Honda hasn’t made a truly reliable car since the 90s and I feel sorry for OPs shop bill when he enters the “find out” stage of his current “fucking around”

My GF got around the Honda reliability problem when some jerkoff stole her CRV last week. Guy walked up, did some SDR magic, opened the door, started it up and drove away. Both keys were in the house :/

S-Tier security there, Honda.
