UnREALISTIC fake news.

No one can explain that ending. Its like trying to explain a sunrise or mountain capped in snow.

The whole thing is probably about which of the endings he considers to be valid.

Which makes it perfect filibuster material.

ChocoboRocket ,

You can absolutely explain the ending.

It’s just that you will also be wrong

IIRC the director or someone was depressed and the ending was him getting out of depression. I haven’t watched the show in a long long time but I do remember the ending making more sense with that explanation.

The AI’s having a hard time deciding what’s inside the bird cage and what isn’t, though it did better than I would’ve expected

wowwoweowza OP ,

I was surprised.

Tacoma ,

And it can’t decide if the handlebar should be in front or behind the cage

ReakDuck ,

I wanted to go to sleep and have a last look at lemmy. I looked at it a bit longer because it looked beautiful and kinda made me think how these birds are literally not flying away or how could this be staged.

But I just forgot AI exists and just didnt even zoom into that thing. Which really is noticable now… but I literally bought it as being real.

Time to go sleep, I guess I was just too tired.

AI-generated imaged have become so boring to look at. Most of them.

I wonder why there are so many Chinese nationals trying anything they can to get into the US? Why are they traveling to Mexico and paying the cartels to take their smuggling routes into the US? If you use this meme as a reference that shouldn’t be happening.

I wonder where the disconnect is?

Maybe it’s because this is tankie propaganda pushed by China and not based in reality.

I wonder, does China have the same issue of Americans trying anything they can to immigrate to China?

Also do you know what happened to the kids at Tienamen Square after they united in protest against the Chinese government?

See the interesting thing is African megafauna evolved to be able to somewhat counterplay this, that’s why they ain’t extinct like megafauna everywhere else ended up going.

The horse was indigenous to North America before it was hunted to extinction there, making the age of exploration inadvertently one of the first ever native species repopulation projects.

DudeDudenson ,

I didn’t know about the horse thing, I’m assuming they didn’t consider them as transportation?

PhlubbaDubba ,

Too small at the time, it took a concerted breeding program for ancient steppe peoples to first breed horses able to pull chariots, and then big enough to be ridden.

Humans have been migrating over the world for tens of thousands of years and yet the horse was first able to be used for transportation about 4 thousand years ago.

Been reading the “Deathworlders” novel. Earth is a Level-12 “deathworld”. Too impossibly dangerous for sentient life to evolve on a Level-10. Gravity, parasites, bacteria, fungi, viruses, predators, solar radiation, extreme heat and cold, tectonic activity, tornadoes, hurricanes, all that.

Rest of the galaxy wrote us off as too dangerous to even investigate. And besides, there can’t be intelligent life there.

Free book, kinda like a FOSS story, if you will, but not fan fiction either. Getting a little odd several thousand pages in, but I’m hanging in for the last 800 pages (out of 10,000+).

Google “humans fuck yeah” or “HFY” for more fiction along these lines.
