other than landing on reddit a few times from searches I haven’t gone on reddit at all. I really miss a few communities, but I think it’s best to pull off the bandaid now.
Lemmy has almost completely replaced reddit for me.
There are a handful of subs I still visit because the equivalent communities here either don’t exist or are near dead. I’ve refused to install the reddit app though and found Geddit which doesn’t use their API. I just lurk so it works out for me.
Mostly. There are one or two niche subs that doesn’t exist here, so I keep using reddit for that. Overall I’m happy with fediverse, both on twitter-like and reddit-like platforms.
Yep it did, and I don’t know the exact numbers as digital wellbeing doesn’t show weekly usage but by looking at the usage of the past 7 days I would say 8 to 9h
Dumped that site the day the darkness fell over it and been here ever since. Not really felt any great need to go back there even though there are a couple of subreddit’s I miss but I can live without them and not be an worse off. It’s a fun time being here on this part of the fediverse, just like when we exploring the world of Bulletin Board Systems back in the day’s when we had 9600 baud modems Never look at phone useage, it’s a tool I use as and when ;)
I still interact with one irreplaceable community. If there isn’t enough subscribed content on Lemmy, I do go back and look at my feed. Most of my interactions are here, though.
Same here. Stock Reddit app is crap, and after how they treated third party app devs, mostly Christian, I don’t want to give any traffic to that place.
It’s more friendly around here, but I sure miss some communities, and there is obviously less people around. I hope Lemmy continues to grow.
