I’m running internet to an out building 550’ from the main house. I’m going to trench an run conduit with pull strings and fiber. Do I just get regular multi it mode with sfp+ connectors on either end? Will my normal 10g switches be fine? Anything else I need to think about?

Every couple months I get the urge to organize my lab/home office equipment into a rack/cabinet, but never follow through on it. I ocassionally look on craigslist for deals, but everything is either too far away or too big. I’d rather pay more for a smaller rack that doesn’t go all the way to the ceiling and will just show...

Hey so i know this is a weird question but… does anyone has the same issue of “vanishing comments”? every few times i write a comment, it sends the comment… and boom its gone like it never existed. it doesn’t gives me any error message, its just gone forever....

Why happen if I store pirated content inside my VPS? I think the answer is pretty obvious, in their TOS should say that if I do that they will BAN me without warning, but can they detect the files? Or worse, what if I download directly into the VPS with torrent or Jdownloader?...
