I used Ubuntu in my college for some light programming and felt really happy about it....

I have only used mint,pop,and nobara on my pc,I tried vanilla but didnt like it, Is there any good ubuntu based distro thats easy to use? I can use the terminal fine,I also want gnome 44

What are cis and trans alternate types of? I don’t think it’s “gender identity” because wouldn’t that just be man, woman or nonbinary regardless of whether they’re cis or trans? Cis/trans just being a qualifier?...

I read somewhere in here that other fediverse apps like Ice Cubes should be able to access Lemmy.World content to give one an experience similar to the Reddit app. I have Ice Cubes already for viewing mastodon posts and it works ok....

I think I’m ready to elevate from bonded 1G networking to 10GB. I tend to have used/old netgear equipment at home, purchased on the cheap. I think I’m finally seeing enough latency when trying to run OS’s on my proxmox server with storage on my TrueNAS that I want to move to 10G networking....
