For all scientists in the lemmyverse, I want you to know there is a lemmy instance dedicated to nature and science: mander.xyz.
Saw some posts on reddit about revanced patching some android reddit 3rd party apps like sync, rif, boost etc to enable users to use their api key or something to enable them to continue using their favorite app....
I keep looking for them...
I think I waited almost four weeks for my data from reddit, only to find out that for each post I saved, they only put a permalink in the csv file. This is obviously not what I wanted....
I’m currently using Klipper, and it’s fine, I suppose, but I miss the ability to cycle through the previous clips with simple keypresses, like in the emacs killring (the only thing I miss from my very brief experimentation with emacs back in the day).
When I'm driving with the phone is a dashboard mount, everything else on the phone is super slow and laggy. To the point where if something doesn't work via voice control, I'm afraid to do it manually like when stopped at a red light, in case I can't switch back to navigation before I need to make a turn. Google Maps on OnePlus...
I'm not sure Reddit is very popular here but I'm wondering!
They’re violating all kinds of data protection laws in refusing to allow users to delete their data
It's lonely being an adult
I followed your instruction to have it shipped from a Walmart in Louisiana for some reason, but thanks Lemmy!
Influx of Lemmy brothers and sisters incoming. Already 3K and growing deep, we may as well rebuild together. Let’s do this! 🤝...
My partner and I are doing a year of trying new activities, none of our friends are organised enough to come as a big group so I thought we could go as a 2. I’m just a bit worried it’ll be full of try hard people/won’t be suitable for first timers and we won’t have fun. Does anyone have any experience?
So I got a notification that Google is going to retire the reminders feature from Calendar and make it a Tasks feature instead....
I have an A53, running Android 13. I’ve recently noticed that if I uninstall an app and the reinstall it, it still has login credentials. That leads me to believe that uninstall isn’t really deleting all the associated data....
Hey guys. I own a fairly successful business that I built from the ground up, but I still find money is super tight. I have a child on the way, and I want to be able to provide for my family everything I didn’t have growing up. What career or side job would you recommend I do or learn in my spare time? I’m open to any...
I've woken up with pain though my shoulders, must have slept funny. Getting older and waking up uncomfortable is rubbish....
I’ve played Diablo 1 and world of Warcraft which is slightly similar, but just tried d3 a week ago. I play most games on my switch, I grabbed the eternal edition a while back. The spec system looks really basic, but it gets fairly deep with runes and legendary items. What amazes me the most is the speed, there are a ton of...
I’ve seen the app Apollo as the center of the reddit protest (it was mentioned and cited more than any other app in relevant posts). I’ve also seen many Lemmy clients in development taking inspiration from it....
So I was hungry and bored and a little drunk and decided to make some homemade macaroni and cheese. I found this old leather-bound book that looked like a cookbook, so I opened it and followed a recipe. Turns out it was like the Necronomicon or something and I summoned a demon. He’s sitting on my couch right now being a dick,...
I haven't seen this app suggested, so I'm sharing it in case anyone likes it....
Is the Lemmy folks able to get the Apollo dev to create a Lemmy iOS app?
The only reason why we all used third party apps for Reddit, is because their app and website is abhorrent trash. It’s great to have a choice, but Lemmy’s website is smooth to use. I know it’s mind blowing not to use a app for everything in 2023 but Lemmy just works.
