I have a unused RPi4 (the 8Gig one) running DietPi. I did use it as a playground but ever since I am renting a Hetzner machine for (playground) stuff that I want web accessible, I don’t have particular use for the Pi....
I use Radarr and Sonarr for my movies/shows, and Spotify for music, but I do know there’s another *arr app for that. The question is, is it worth setting up and how easy is it to discover new/similar music as opposed to Spotify, given that Spotify isn’t expensive at all. And how do you fellow crewmen go about it?

Looking to talk to people on Lemmy and places similar to r/penpal or r/dirtypenpal. If anyone knows a place on lemmy like that or if you’re interested in creating a place let me know.
Hello! Thanks to everyone who helped me yesterday, but I could not solve the issue. I however identified the problem. I opened a new thread to better focus on the real problem....

I was just randomly checking out what Funerals costs and was shocked how expensive it was! €3.500 to €5.500! I live in north Germany, and we have here some very deep Woods. So I was thinking what would happen if I just die there. Let’s say no one ever finds me. Are Animals just going to eat me, and will I just be gone in a...
I’ve installed Pop!OS after getting my Lenovo Ideapad Pro 5 back from the warranty repair. Supposedly they changed the motherboard (which I don’t doubt, it was waiting a week for new parts apparently), but even after that I’m still getting graphical errors and bugs when moving between desktops and other window animations....
I’ve been distrohopping for a while now, and eventually I landed on Arch. Part of the reason I have stuck with it is I think I had a balanced introduction, since I was exposed to both praise and criticism. We often discuss our favorite distros, but I think it’s equally important to talk about the ones that didn’t quite hit...

I’ve never ripped CDs or DVDs before for any reason and am curious how this works since I have some stuff I wanna see about backing up but am nervous about ruining the disc. I’ve tried looking this up, but every time I do, I obviously am searching for the wrong thing because I have never found the info I’m looking for.
Hey folks! I’m getting a fresh laptop for the first time in about a decade (Framework 16) in a couple of months and am looking forward to doing some low-level tinkering both on the OS and hardware. I’m planning to convert into a “cyberdeck” with quick-release hinges for the screen since I usually use an HMD, built-in...
I know this isn’t strictly piracy related, I apologise, but I think it is tangentally related in that piracy protects you from data theft by avoiding the services the biggest thieves operate. Also, I feel like people here might be very interested in this take....
Is there an open source package that the Internet Archive runs? What is it? I assume sites like archive.is run the same. I’d like to know if I can also run it for self-hosted archiving.
It works in other devices and there isn’t any options in bios. Any ideas?...
