Speaking as a technician (associate's degree), every engineer in my country makes easily double what I do. Doctors, lawyers, and engineers are just examples of professions that are paid more for their expertise than their actual work output. I would have to work 60-hour weeks just to get paid what a fresh engineering grad would get.
If you think you're at the top of your pay scale and want to earn more, then you should probably think about further education or look into travel nursing if travel is interesting/a possibility for you. Some kind of specialized knowledge like radiation, imaging, or anesthesiology would probably help.

Yea… I stand by my statement from earlier in the debate but in the last ten minutes or so they seriously dropped the fucking ball - especially trying to cut off Harris when she tried to respond to bullshit Trump said when he stole time himself.
Trump on the peaceful transfer of power and January 6th: “I told people to be peaceful and patriotic when they were rioting and no one was killed on their side, but Ashley Babbit was shot by an evil cop and the rioters were treated badly. What about the killers coming over the border? She was the border czar, but she doesn’t want to be called that because she’s embarrassed about it. When are they going to be prosecuted? They’re coming from all over the world, not South America and crime is down all over the world. When are they going to be prosecuted? What about the people who burned down Minneapolis? What about the people who took over a large amount of Seattle!”
Moderator: “Do you regret what happened?”
Trump: “I just showed up to make a speech and I went to Nancy Pelosi and the mayor of D.C. and I said- it wasn’t a riot by me- and I said I’d like to give you the national guard and they both rejected me and her daughter has a tape saying she was responsible for what happened. It was their fault because she was responsible for security.”
Trump rebuts the sane responses by Harris on January 6th: “It was a different term and it was a term that was related to energy because they destroyed our energy business. Fox News people proved that I never praised Nazis in Charlottesville. You talk about the Capitol: Why are we allowing illegals in? Let’s leave this debate right now and go down to Washington D.C. and let her sign a bill to close up the border because they have the right to do it. They don’t need bills. You wake up the president because he’ll be asleep to go sign a bill and if they do that, the border is closed. Those people are killing many people, not January 6th.”
We’ve been transitioning from a dignity culture to a victimhood/outrage culture for most of my adult life. The relevant one here is the outrage culture, where people are trying their damnedest to be the most outraged. Nothing shows that you are more are outraged by something than suggesting that someone should die for being in disagreement with you.
Trump on the election: “I don’t acknowledge I lost in 2020. I said it sarcastically when I said I lost. There’s so much proof. They should have sent it back to the legislature. I got the most votes. People should never think an election is a fraud. We need a wall and we need elections. They are trying to get illegal immigrants to vote. No judge said we had standing on the election fraud cases, that’s a technicality. Can you believe that? I was the president! You do an ABC special on it. We have facts and statistics. But that’s old news and we need to solve the problem right now because we have a nation in decline and it is dying.”
It’s clear they’re trying so hard to lean on the illegal voting. He’s hammering it because he told Mike Johnson to shut down the government and I don’t know who chose the plan of attack for why to shut it down, but he’s trying to stay on the message they chose and is absolutely flailing.
It’s all a ploy to back up their upcoming shutdown. I’m glad to hear it sounds like its going down like a torpedo.
