But you are also asking for MANY judgement calls from the mods. What constitutes inactive? No posts for a week? A month? What if no one posts, but many people read them? What if a community is ‘active’ but only posts once per month? What if a community is very active, but only seasonally? What if it’s a community for people with birthdays on leap day?
Do you see how much you are asking on top of what they do already? You would have to have mods dedicated only to doing this. It isn’t worth it. Also, fuck reddit. This isn’t reddit.
People say time and distractions and whatever else … but the only advice that ever really helped me was a line from some character on a TV show I don’t even remember:
“In my experience, to move on, you’ve actually got to move on.”
In other words… Go meet new people, get a new crush, find the greener pasture.
Try focusing on the patients. You work because the work is valuable.
Or, you can become lazy like your coworkers.
Decide which of those two paths is going to feel better for you.
Mainly, stop trying to find a world where everyone else is different. That’s not going to happen, and if that’s your criterion for happiness you’re not going to be happy.

Not that I expect a room temperature IQ between the lot of these characters, but somebody, somewhere along the line may have told them this is likely an illegal campaign donation, and the whole story is a pure bullshit publicly stunt. There’s approximately a zero percent chance Trump and his team accepted the “gift” for any longer than it takes to get a few pictures. He’s already forgotten about them, just like every other weirdo that lines up to kiss his ass.
