Seemingly the functionality for setting languages is never used, and a large portion of my new feed is from instances that are language specific (and not the language I speak)....

I have been not recommending Ubuntu to people because of obvious reasons (the Amazon search integration and snaps, mainly). The reason I am posting this is because someone I know mentioned that they are considering Ubuntu. They have a degree in cs and generally are competent with computers, but didn’t like mint when they tried...

People (including me) complain about monopolies all the time for various reasons. At the same time, I’ve noticed a ton of complaints about the existence of multiple streaming platforms. But isn’t that a good thing at the end of the day? If streaming platforms consolidated into 2-3 companies, there wouldn’t be much stopping...

So I uninstalled Zenless Zone Zero yesterday via Wine, and it seems it just deleted every game, KDE configs, etc....

I think there is a deep need for someone to create a page listing all the ways someone can help seperated by the media type....

I was thinking of making a Free Open Source Resturant, with free food and drinks made purely out of free software components. I was thinking of licensing this under the GPLv3 for a freedom living experience, and not only that. I was also thinking it all in Rust!!

Inspired by watching my cat lay on her 6’ (2 m) tall cat tower and sleep like a baby. Zero regrets, even if it makes us look like insane cat people for having a giant cat tower right in our living room. She lives here, she gets furniture too!
