I’d love to hear your feedback as it looks like an interesting Twitch alternative. I didn’t include it on the list as it doesn’t look to be as straightforward to get streaming on it compared to the set-up of others on the list.
I don’t stream myself so I can’t speak for that side of things, but just for watching streams the software seems fine but there’s not much content. Same story as a lot of Fediverse systems.
Maybe once the Lemmy/kbin threaded Fediverse takes off (which I think has the potential to be the first federated network to eclipse its centralized counterparts) there can be some synergy with these other platforms that can help them get more users.
Wow no way… Slide has always been my favorite 3rd party app, and I always felt like the only one using it when I’d mention it on reddit. What an awesome surprise!
I stopped using it because apparently it had been abandoned by the dev, and switched to Infinity because it’s extremely similar, but I loved Slide too. Will definitely use this.
I can't speak for everyone, but I really enjoyed the "get out of your way" style the app has. I also really liked that you had to slide to upvote/downvote on posts instead of having static buttons you can accidentally press. It also had a decent system for switching between multiple accounts. Finally, it's all open source so one could fork it and customize it if they wanted to.
Alternative weight loss techniques include making the planet spin faster or else hollowing it out entirely, neither of which would have any negative repurcussions as far as I can see.
Definitely. Nothing really caught my attention in terms of the used retro games, but got chatting to Alastair from Lowtek games who was really nice, and just loved the look of the blue cart. Plus any excuse to fire up the old front loader!
My sisters one would steal balls from other dogs and spend hours evading you in the park to avoid giving it back. He grew out of it eventually and is generally a lovely boy.
