Bing has honestly been a lot better for me than google. I refused to use it for so long because it was just a joke when it first came out. But I started not being able to find any decent search results on google and the entire first page is now ads versus just the first few results. Bing also has an AI thing that will just give you a straight answer to a question and links to where it found it. I’d say to give it a try.
I really hate how results open in a new tab, if you change the option it’ll get reset eventually since it’s saved to a cookie instead of your account. The rewards system is cool though, I’ve gotten like 500k+ points lifetime
Well, if it gets the job done. I’d only argue about maintainability there maybe, as other devs get involved.
In my final apprenticeship work, I also only used vanilla php and argued that it would take too much time in this project to evaluate and learn a framework and that I know the vanilla way pretty good, so it’s valid this way around.
Every person I know who used JQuery seems to really miss it. My only impression of it is that it looks goofy. Similar for PHP, but my only experience with it is Nextcloud causing me nightmares.
I used to use JQuery (and I still do occasionally when doing scripts for WordPress where its included natively), but modern vanilla JS has solved 90+ % of the reason why we needed JQuery back then.
That’s what I did and I loved it. jQuery, some jQuery API, some dataTables, my backend in C# and off I go! Not perfect, but really enjoyable. Also SCSS is wonderful and I’m never going back.
You may already know this, but just be careful. Don’t mix the bleach with ammonia or acidic chemicals, and don’t use it on porous surfaces. Also try not to get it on your skin or breathe in the spray.

It’s sort of backfired for idiots like that. The care homes and hospitals in my area now have a wider diversity of staff, the people these idiots don’t like the look of. Brexit restricted the supply of the people they like the look of.
A lot of it is cultural and does/will get better in time. But there’s always going to be pockets of these people unfortunately. My wife is from Asia and sadly the verbal racism is mostly from young people. I guess they just find it funny amongst their friends.
Different colour tops for different types of milk. Gold top (cap) was the full fat milk which had cream on the top. Whether it’s true or not I don’t know but he said the EU banned it because of it’s high fat content.
