Lula is outrageously corrupt. I mean, he lost power due to a massive government corruption scandal he was part of, that even his replacement was part eventually found to be involved in regarding Brazil’s largest gas company.

They talk as if it were an option to expose themselves in the middle of a shootout, not to mention that most of the population living in a community is afraid of suffering some police reprisal. Most likely all residents have seen a child or worker killed by the police. The state is murderous, corrupt and hates the poor. They profit from this genocide.
