So it’s no secret that some parts of the army in the USA and my country (UK) sometimes use legacy software like DOS for niche roles as they’re robust including older versions of Windows....

I’ve been using newsgroups for video downloads for quite a while. The Arr suite is great for this. On the same note, I tend to find a good deal of music with Lidarr and my news server, but not everything. Notably, classic rock and older albums are more obscure. I supplement this with SoulSeek, but that’s got its own issues....

Howdy All! I’ve been self hosting some services on a pi 4 for a year or two now and have been fiddling with new services lately. I realized I’m pushing 60% or so of RAM and maxing out the SWAP file while fiddling with things. I currently just set up a nightly reboot as a temporary solution but I’m thinking about picking up...

I haven’t bought computer speaker setup in well over a decade, but getting back into gaming, any suggestions?...

I was planning on installing windows to my new ssd for a dualboot, but I noticed that windows installer didn’t allow me to select the disk. I learned that it just installs to the drive that is marked as M2_1 in the bios. I thought that had something to do with boot order initially, but I’m not sure about that now. If it is...

Once again I go back to the Exiled Lands (Savage Wilds this time, actually), and once again I can’t help editing “…/Conan Exiles/ConanSandbox/Config/DefaultGame.ini” to strip away the opening credits that I can’t really skip otherwise or automatically. Not everyone is bothered by it and the wait time is the same, but...
