That and the growing unrest due to wage gaps and our taxes not benefitting our society.

tacosanonymous ,

I work at a library and we provide a lot of tax forms. Too often people take one of everything and I just know they don’t know what they’re doing.

tacosanonymous ,

The cognitive dissonance has reached critical mass.

tacosanonymous ,

You’re right and meow I don’t know which arrow to click.

tacosanonymous ,

For sure. OP should give them their SSN and bank account and get started.

Alabama lawmakers advance bill that could lead to prosecution of librarians (apnews.com)

Alabama lawmakers on Thursday advanced legislation that could see librarians prosecuted under the state’s obscenity law for providing “harmful” materials to minors, the latest in a wave of bills in Republican-led states targeting library content and decisions....

tacosanonymous ,

They have tried this twice in my state too. I think they’ll keep trying until they get us.

Our state Library Association is putting up a good fight but our legislature slides further to the right every passing election cycle.

tacosanonymous ,

Come and try it, you old ,corporate cock gobbling, douche bag.

tacosanonymous ,

His mother must be so proud.

tacosanonymous ,

Rule 34 demands that it exists.

I was being an asshole. She died in the mid 2000s and I believe that’s why/when his crazy ramped up.

tacosanonymous ,

Is this just self-fulfilling prophecy or a planned action?

tacosanonymous ,

Sounds good. I don’t see why we need to increase input for the orphan crushing machine.

You want to get mods that are gated by a paywall for a game you pirated?

I saw you mentioned Patreon etc in another comment. I feel like you’re free to donate to anyone who makes mods but they usually don’t demand it.

I don’t know their corporate structure but WeMod has a subscription model.

Weren’t people estimating a *2027 end for Tesla bc they haven’t been working on new models? They put their efforts into the meme “truck” instead of the roadster. They have been slashing prices yet demand for EVs, especially theirs has been dropping. All the while, their main spokesman has been a toxic deterrent. Meanwhile, these douchelords think The ceo should get a $56B payout?

tacosanonymous ,

I don’t know exactly what you’re asking, sorry. Could you clarify?

tacosanonymous ,

That’s just all the ones I’ve heard of.

tacosanonymous ,

This little douche baby censors anything he can when it’s negative towards him or his companies. He’s a whiny hypocrite who would rather lie than be a decent human being.

Ftr, video of people getting stabbed/dying doesn’t belong on Twitter.

tacosanonymous ,

It is honestly the best “pick up and play” platform. I love how everything just pauses when you lock the screen.

tacosanonymous ,

I didn’t get two years out of mine.

Regardless, they shouldn’t be manufacturing these like they’re disposable.

tacosanonymous ,

Meh. They are their own worst enemy. If you’re going to make a console, you have to give people reasons to buy it. Their lack of console selling games isn’t the steam deck’s fault.

I thought the ps3 might kill Sony’s console dreams but they buckled down and delivered with the ps4.

M$ can salvage this, if they genuinely reflect and start delivering.

tacosanonymous ,

It’s crazy. I know I’m part of the problem too. These people need something other than factual rebuttals to bring them back into the fold but I’m le tired. I can’t do it anymore. But that means the system is working as intended and we must strive to dismantle it.

tacosanonymous ,

He gets very mad if you imply or even ask if he should be accountable for any failings of his companies.

And this brain dead idea of his is literally just punishment like he’s an ancient slave lord. Like this will motivate the remaining workers to double their output.

tacosanonymous ,

I can’t imagine he will take the stand. It’s not in his interests and his lawyers know that. If he did, I’m guessing it will be a series of “I don’t recall” to anything his lawyers haven’t pre-approved.

tacosanonymous ,

Exactly. Also, I had a racist dog one time. I don’t really trust their judgement.

tacosanonymous ,

It was a Llasa Apso. He was very territorial, would bark at anyone if they came into the house. But if we were walking outside, really only barked at Asian and Black people. I blame his grandparents bc they watched too much Fox News.

That’s pretty common. My cat is like that. My hamster was a lady but also a misogynist.

Maybe I’m just a terrible parent.

tacosanonymous ,

I’m assuming he’s referencing the Rock sticking with Vince McMahon and/or his pro-Israel stance.

tacosanonymous ,

We are on the internet. That’s a given.

tacosanonymous ,

Our society will crumble once this gets on mobile.

tacosanonymous ,

Love it or hate it, it’s the same flavor.

tacosanonymous ,

Does that make this an intranational incident?

tacosanonymous ,

It would be more funny if it said, “last time.”

Seems unlikely to be her first anyway.

San Francisco sues Oakland over new airport name that includes 'San Francisco' (apnews.com)

San Francisco on Thursday sued Oakland after officials there voted in favor of changing the name of the city’s airport to San Francisco Bay Oakland International Airport, saying the change will cause confusion and is already affecting its airport financially....

tacosanonymous ,

It is kinda shitty but the airport is literally on the bay.

tacosanonymous ,

Yes, they are as close as they can be to each other with the water between them.

tacosanonymous ,

Part of full legalization includes adding resources for education and rehabilitation. We educate people so they are less likely to succumb. We remove stigmas that create barriers to people getting help with addiction, and then we help people.

Honestly, removing demand for crack would do more to shatter the supply.
