@schwarze0fm Leider sind hier noch nicht so viel Historiker:innen wie auf X, ich hoffe aber sehr, dass sich das noch besser.

Du kannst den Gruppen @histodons @historikerinnen folgen. Wenn jemand was postet und die erwähnt, wird der Beitrag automatisch von der Gruppe retröötet.

Gerade im Bereich der Digital Humanities verstehe ich die Begeisterung über BlueSky echt nicht. Wir reden hier jahrelang über Open Science, Open Access, Open hastenichtgesehen und bei den Social Media geht man dann zur nächsten closed Milliardärsplattform 🤪.

Und jaja, Netzwerkeffekte - geschenkt. Erinnert leider alles sehr an die m.E. selbst verschuldete Abhängigkeit von (Groß-)Verlagen beim Publizieren.

Interessante Rezension über Hoyers Buch "Diesseits der Mauer" auf @hnet_reviews :

"Yet in stressing the normalcy of East German lives, the book too often flattens them, stripping away much of what made them distinctive. Instead of a “world full of colour,” we get a washed-out picture of a people who “lived, loved, worked and grew old. [...] But it does not do justice to East Germans’ lived experience, or to the immense diversity of the GDR."
