Frage an die Histo-Bubble im deutschsprachigen Raum, insb. Deutschland: Sind Euch andere Universitäten als die OVGu bekannt, an denen in den letzten 10-15 Jahren der Studiengang Geschichte aufgehoben und damit die Geschichtswissenschaft abgeschafft wurde? Nicht nur gekürzt, sondern gekillt?

I had never come across an historical article published anonymously. But in the Fall issue of "Critical historical Studies" there is one. A note at the bottom of the page clarifies: "The editors have granted anonymity to this article’s author, who cited concerns about access to future research opportunities in Congo." The text is about "Oil Extraction in the Republic of Congo". Dieser Sammelband war schon sehr lange in Arbeit, aber zwischen prekären Arbeitsbedingungen ( eigentlich hab ich alles in meiner Freizeit gemacht) und Covid etc hat es jetzt lange gedauert. Der erste Workshop fand schon 2017! statt. Nun denn. Hier ist er, nicht billig, aber man kann die eine oder oder Uni- und Staats- bzw. Landesbibliothek bitten, das Ding zu kaufen.
